كادت موضة القبّعة أن تتخطّى الصيحات وتدخل في الكلاسيكيات لدرجة الاناقة التي تضفيها على إطلالتك متى ارتديتها، هذا في العموم! ولكن إذا أردنا دخول التفاصيل قليلاً، اكتشفنا بعض قواعد الاتيكيت الخاصة بإختيار القبّعة. الق نظرة عن قرب.
إذا كنت ترتدين القبّعة الكلاسيكية أو المخملية المكمّلة لملابسك، يمكنك الابقاء عليها في الداخل. أمّا إذا كنت تعتمرين قبّعة لمحاربة البرد أو لتلافي أشعة الشمس من الأفضل نزعها حين تدخلين الى المنزل.

من المهمّ أن تعرفي أن وظيفة القبعة هي وظيفية تكميلية وليست أساسية. بكلام أكثر تفصيلاً أنّ المراد منها هو تكليل أناقتك وليس اخفاء عيبٍ معيّن في إطلالتك، كأن تعتمديها لطمس تسريحة شعرك مثلاً.

من اللائق أن تخلعي القبّعة حين تكونين في مأتم، في زيارة مريض، في مقام دينيّ أو في حضرة أناس ذوي مراتب أو مكانات اجتماعية، ملكية، دينية رفيعة.

ليست القبّعة منفصلة عن أسلوبك العام أو عن المناسبة، فلا ترتدي قبعة مخملية في مباراة رياضية، ولا قبعة البايسبول في حفل افتتاح راقٍ!
